Who we are?
Samskruthi school was inaugurated on May 31, 2003 by Mahakavi Sri Akkitham Achuthan Namboothiripad in presence of respected teachers, Sri. N. N. Thalappil, A. V. Moideen Kutty, Sri.Pallikara Balakrishnan and Prof. T. Pradeep. The school was started as a nursery school with Lower Kindergarten classes with just 21 students. Over the past fourteen years, the school has grown to accommodate 519 students with 26 teachers and 9 supporting staff.
The school has a library having more than 1500 collections and each student is issued one book per week. The school has 11 smart class rooms with LCD projection facilities. The staff of the school have been trained in continuous and comprehensive evaluation.
The school has its own transportation facilities with six buses to ensure that the students are on time either in the school or at home. The school now caters to 4 panchayats in the Malappuram and Palghat districts.
The school was visited by several distinguished people. Among them are, Sri. Chitran Namboothiripad, Sri. Mahakavi Akkitham, Prof. M. N. Vijayan, Sri. K.P.Sankaran, Prof. Dr. K.I. Vasu, Sri. M K Ramachandran, Sri. P. M. Pallippad, Prof. Dr. R. Graham Cooks, and several others.
At every stage the school is guided by its Patent Teachers Association (PTA) which meets periodically.
In 2012, our school was recognised by the state government. The new building was inaugurated on 31st March 2013 at 10 am by Sri. P. Chithran Namboothirippad.
The school has produced three Class X batches whose scores in the Board Exams were commendable.
The school has great hopes for its future and with the commitment of all, it is hoped that all of these will be accomplished soon.
Our Mission and vision
Education in the broadest sense is to increase one’s understanding of the world as a result of training, study or experience. It has to prepare the mind and body to accept challenges. While it is an ongoing process all through one’s life, structured academic learning constitutes an important aspect. This has to happen early, particularly in the competitive world of today.
Many educational goals are universal: however, the form of education as well as its content may vary with time and place. Education of any kind whether structured or informal involves transmition of beliefs, values and customs of a particular society to its younger members.
Samskruthi accepts and abides by the educational goals and objectives formulated in the National Curriculum 2000. We also understand the need for the acceptance of our heritage and value systems. Samskruthi gives due attention to our mother tongue, Malayalam.

Why Us?
There are schools and schools. Samskruthi is a different school, as it does not wish to repeat the same that is available everywhere. In Samskruthi, you can get complete education – academic content, language skills in English, Malayalam and Hindi, practical skills, cultural values, pride in our country, physical wellbeing, lessons on personal hygiene, concern for people around you, environmental education, respect for fellow beings, cultural co-existence, opportunity to learn martial arts, opportunity to learn vocal and instrumental music and a number of others. We would like our children to be fit to live in this world, in harmony with nature. We take great efforts to achieve this. We leave no stone unturned in our mission. The teachers, parents, management and the community are together in this goal.
Samskruthi was not started with the intention of increasing the bank balance of its founders. The management wants the school to become self sustaining in about 15 years, giving the best possible remuneration in the locality by providing the best possible education while charging what is affordable for the community. All of this is not possible with the intention of profit. Samskruthi is an experiment to see if this is possible and can be practiced in a rural locality with no external funding or affiliations.
Samskruthi was started by people who grew up in the same locality, using the same resources. They have become examples of being successful in their chosen path. Therefore, it is possible to be what you want to be, with commitment and devotion.
